I love your Mini. That is so cool!
Your tyre diameters look so different on those two bikes. Do you notice a final drive difference between the two? Also front disk brakes look to be different on the MTB and the roadie. Any reason, or are they built up out of available parts? Different forks too. More info please! How much for the Mini?
I used to drool over them a while back, still damn sexy years later.
Why an 8" rotor on the roadie? Shaun ...whatever the road rules, self-preservation is the absolute priority for a cyclist when mixing it with motorised traffic.

Maybe the roadie has more brakes as it goes faster and has more grip?
Either way I'd say pick the most immaculate of the 2 and wrap it up in glad wrap and anything else that will mummify it and never use it again-it will pay for your retirement if tidy enough!
I put a 7" disc on the front of my roadie (6" rear) and I regret it, I have to say. The prospect of overpowering the amount of traction generated by the skinny front tyre is scary. I need to chagne the disc. I've already had one incident where I broke traction and highsided entering a corner. Fortunately the following cars were able to drive around me.
I saw you riding by the other day and my thought was...
{maybe it's just me but} "that's one ugly bike" Brian said "Your nuts.. they're a class bike" Sexy... I think not...or maybe I just like more curves in my women

My god. I remember those bikes from the 90's. I didn't want one..... I wanted a AMP bike.. Lucky I didn't get it. Good design, poor execution (IMO). The Specialized fsr that I did own was a crap execution also. Hah...now I have a Titus Switchblade....beautttiiful ( IMO)
