New to BNA

Postby Stredda » Thu Mar 13, 2014 6:08 am

G'day all, just signed up to the forum, but been checking it out for a while. I have just upgraded my 10+ year old Apollo Altitude to a 2012 Giant Anthem X 29er 0. I must say it's a big step up and have already beaten most of my off road PBs.

I do most of my riding within 20km of my place in Latrobe, Tasmania. Being a country town there are plenty of trails to explore and a nice little 90m hill next to the main street with bush trails running all through it (Got a good little down hill run). Think I nearly have the suspension dialled in now and have been busting those Strava PBs and a couple of KOMs  . Keen to do some big rides with some mates and to ride in my first race some time soon :!:

Tassie Lad. Awesome!

I grew up in Hobart and cut my MTB teeth down there. Miss it heaps and cant wait to take my bike back in June/July for a week or so.

A lot of nice trails down that way. I'll have to go down to do the North/South track, I here it's a great ride. :D

Absolutely, and don't be put off riding back up - there's actually quite a bit of flat and downhill going N-S; much more than you'd think from riding the other way.
