Hey guys,

I just went out for my !st ride yesterday in about 7 years.
My backside is killing me.
Can anyone recommend any comfortable seats (not too fat) for trails and all mountain riding?

Hey mate, I only just got back into mtb riding about 2 months ago from about a 5 year brake.
The first 2-3 times out on the weekend i could hardly sit down the next day at work but now after a good ride i dont notice it hardly at all. I think after a few rides it will get better. If you dont have them id suggest a good pair of bike shorts instead of a seat upgrade.

Believe it or not changing seats wont help you at all short term. Give it a few rides and it'll stop hurting.
Everyone suffers this pain when they go for a ride after a long break 8)
Some people say i have a bad attitude...those people are stupid.

I think the current fix for the problem is a good dose of HTFU, as detailed elsewhere on this forum .... :)

Think outside the double triangle.

Seems it could be more than saddle issues....but I've found WTB lasers to be good. ( yes a I own a few)
