I am looking at purchasing a MTB and i saw this on ebay. There is no good info and the bloke selling it has no idea, he says its his brothers who is "away" at work but it could be stolen.

Boat anchor. Cheap heavy clunker. Weight trainer...... Avoid.

To me it looks like a KMart type bike, from the appearance of the front suspension, therefore at $180 it would be drastically over priced.

Especially if you're just starting out!
Think outside the double triangle.

This sort of bike may see you giving up cycling/ mtb'ing very quickly. Heavy. Heavy. Heavy. Won't be ascending many hills, let alone mountains. Cheap steel. Rust quickly. Components wear and break easily. Wheels buckle easily. Not worth spending $100 on. Your local bike shop won't repair it. I find these out for hard rubbish collections regularly. If you're mechanically minded, and you want something to totally trash, offer $20 for it, IMHO. Otherwise, save a bit more money, and keep looking.....
