Just wondering, has anyone taken a MTB course to learn techniques like manuals, hops , drifts etc..any recommendations in Melbourne?

There are a few around. MTBSkills, run by Norm & Jess Douglas are based in Geelong but run courses at a range of locations. Jess is a former 24-hour world champion, so knows her stuff. A couple of members of the MTB club I'm in do coaching around Red Hill on the Mornington Peninsula; Ellie Wale from Red Hill MTB Shuttles and Jarrod Murphy at A-Line Coaching would be worth contacting.
I had a thought, but it got run over as it crossed my mind.
