Set up the suspension and went for a short pedal this arvo. Made smiles! It feels heavier than the old bike, but it is a fair bit heavier (around 3kg). The climbs seemed fine, but my legs were not in too shape having PB’d a 5km run this morning. The downs were a blast! Took 2 seconds of a downhill segment despite getting off line and stopping for a second part way down and then having to restart.

Me likely :)

Next stop tubeless and just more riding.

Nice acquisition!

Regarding the weight, go for a ride on your Mammoth. That ought to fix your perception!

And I 100% recommend tubeless. Did the Ghetto to the BSO 29er's stock wheels and it made a world of difference.

Enjoy!

'17 Remedy 8. (Little bit excited, I haven't purchased a new complete bike this century)
Is that a balance bike there are no pedals on it?

You should know that ‘real’ bikes don’t come with pedals... or reflectors or a bell. :?

It’s not a balance bike now, pedals fitted but I might experiment with some flats instead of the current spds.
