Cheers Apple but you did that all yourself!:-) Sadly I won't be riding today - the dreaded lurgy cold has caught up with me. My head is full of snot and I sound like a barking dog when I cough! Time to refuel on ventolin me thinks!Apple wrote:Thanks to Bella, I can now add 38km with a few hills at 27km/hr.

I don't know if you are on the mailing list but Wiggle have some long sleeve basewear tops on special for <$20. Mens and ladies.
I have 4 tops (2 sleeveless and 2 long sleeve) and if you wear one under your jersey it keeps me toasty, handles the sweat well, etc. I use sleeveless with a set of arm warmers if I think I may need to shed a layer.
Check them out - and if you buy any, remember to get them as a tighter\firmer fit than you normally might. Otherwise they really bulk up your jersey.

On topic, I did commute to work and back today (a bit under 30kms). Every week I do two (hard) yoga classes of 1.5 hours each and 2 or 3 commutes and ideally 1 longer ride, depending on commitments etc. So now that I've typed all that out, I'm going to feel extra blessed for sticking to it!

Because I am so nice I walked with the aging pair for a kilometre, it took an hour.
Not happy Jan, But I made an old geezer and his hound happy.
Tomorrow I will run.
