I sat on the couch and watched TV!! :D

I hope to impress with tomorrow's efforts of paddling and the first few hours of the 24 hour relay walk of which I believe I will be walking 12 hours of. I'll have a 305 hour segment tomorrow.

No, everyone went on. I just didn't want to get pneumonia (once is enough for me!), and I hate riding in the wet.

Run down for a coffee instead...

We took our doggies to the doggie beach & wandered with them.

After a "gilligan's island tour" moment yesterday whilst out mtn biking  , i didn't feel too awake to join a group ride today.

I walked 17kms. Still need to take the hounds for a 1-2km walk tonight so planning on hitting the 50km mark for the weekend. Riding a bike is much easier :)

The Relay for Life is fun...but a little too much junk food is in our tent with biccies and muffins and chips.

50km on the blvd... Lovely undulations, on the way home, time to sprint between traffics lights... Cause my legs don't hurt enough as it is...

No bike for me today despite planning to ride to the Walk this morning.

But I walked. For 6 hours. Just under 50kms for the weekend and almost 10 hours walk time (including walking the dogs).

I'm knackered. My feet are sore, my legs are sore, I've got a bluster on the ball of my foot. All I want to do is a light peddle to loosen the legs, but I doubt I could swing my leg over the saddle.

Ow.

Walked the dog for only 1km  Saw lots of cyclists out this morning, boy it was fogy.
I packed and packed and unpacked and unpacked all day. Does that count in this Motivation thread?
Truck arriving on Thursday for the big move will be back on track with training next weekend. But no internet for a 4 days after the move.

Well sadly I haven't turned a pedal on my bike for a week and a half now all due to illness. Just as I think I'm over this stupid chest cold/cough I end up reinjuring some discs in my lower back due to a violent coughing fit. That was on Thursday and I had hoped to be ok by today to do some work on the trainer after work. That was until just before 5am this morning when the gastro bug decided to attack! Not happy Jan! So why am I telling you guys this...use me as your motivation - I desperately want to ride but can't - if your feeling fit enough to spin those pedals do it for me!

I went for a run today at lunch time, 937 stairs to be precise, just incase you thought you where a nut case I went and proved you wrong

Don't run when angry and tired, there's no point to it, it doesn't help and you just feel worse for it

Still angry and annoyed with myself, I'll swim tonight, hopefully that will calm me down, if not I'll break out the boxing gloves...

I did a very slow and weird 30kms on the trainer. Slow as it was the first ride after the weekend walk and I wasn't sure how my knee would hold up. Weird as such stiff soled shoes felt really weird with the blister on the ball of my foot. I hope it goes in the next few days as I'm sick of walking around on an airbag.

I did nothing for a whole week! Thank goodness it's not my birthday all the time.
Tonight I played tennis....and realised I need to get back on the treadmill. Way too many balls sped past me.

I went running at lunch and it was really rather nice, the rain is coming down now, so it looks like it will be the indoor trainer for me tonight... oh the boredem of indoor trainer...

Actually I may put the trainer facing out the back door, that may solve my problems

7:30pm, ABC - New Inventors
8:00pm, ABC - Spicks and Specks.

There's an hour of training in front of the TV. You should be able to clock up 30km in that time :)

Unless there's something interesting to watch in your back yard.

Naked neighbour in the flats next door, although I'm hoping to be looking in the other direction.

Not a fan of new inventors and I can't stand spicks and specks, I think I'll just go with Music for the duration of this moment in hell
