I know how you feel...I got a horrible stomach virus in Bright - not only was I feeling oh so glum for not being able to ride much but I could also barely eat. It has to be the first easter ever where there are still heaps of easter eggs left over because I couldn't stomach the thought of eating them...

Of course now I'm not on holidays and back at work I can eat just fine....

Did our 100k ride today, got a bit wet during the first 35k, then the weather cleared and we had some sunshine!

I had one 5k split with an average of 33k's...easy when it's flat and the wind is at your back

Enjoy your tennis Apple...I'm back to work next week so I'll be forced back to my two short morning rides and clocking up my bigger rides on the weekend
A girl could get used to having extra time on her hands to ride during the week...why did I return to full-time work????

A bit difficult to justify continuing to be a stay at home mum when your son is married, one daughter finished with school and working/studing full time and your youngest daughter is nearly 17

Have you considered sponsoring a child in Africa? That might buy you a couple more years of good riding

LOL, got a couple of those already, they cost money to have, which means that I have to work to pay for them....and if you want to visit, that cost even more money!!!

I figure after having the luxury of staying home to care for and homeschool our kids for 18 years, it's time for me to work and bring some money into the house

Nope, no way   ...we were cool homeschoolers :) !

Finished that over 4 years ago now, our son started his apprenticeship and our girls went into high school and I went into full-time work...after juggling part-time work with kid duties!

Another super ride for me today and the back again isn't too achey. First time in ages I"ve managed rides on consecutive days. The only way is up from here on in. I feel it won't be too long before I rack up some seriously long rides which is going to be super :-D
