Pilates sucks...or to put it better...I suck at pilates!!

Guess I can only improve though. The pace of learning is frustrating though....

Nice Julie...I'm leaving early tomorrow to go for the final fit with my new bike, it'll be too late by the time we finish to take it for a spin!
And the weather looks like rain on Sat...not sure if I want to get my new baby wet on its maiden ride

Good luck with the bike fit! My new bike came home during a rainy week and stayed inside til it cleared up :) Hope the weather is good for a ride Lisa...enjoy!

I remember it was rainy and blowing gale forced winds when my new bike arrived a couple of years ago. First ride I did on it was down the hallway :-P

I'm contemplating swimming to help with treating my lower back. This does however mean I will have to do the dreaded shop for new swimmers....aaaargh! I hate buying swimmers more than buying jeans!

Good on you Apple! I've been thinking of doing the same because I haven't been riding as much. I rode 76kms today but only once during the week. Was a good ride...bit cold - 0 degrees - but nice to be out.

I'm going to start running too...to help me get through winter, although I have ridden 3 times this week, temps haven't been too bad here.

So why is running better than cycling in the cool weather? Is it because you aren't going as fast therefore less wind chill?

So time consuming to get on the bike, I use the trainer and that's it, 1-2 hours is easy inside, you end up spending 3-4 hours outside. Wind chill as well, less of it

That's fantastic Parker! :) Think we're all here but hibernating a bit during winter. Is a duathlon running and cycling?

Where are you all?

Congratulations Parker.

I'm still getting out there on the bike, had a hopeless month in June due to rain, colds and other excuses, but July is looking better already!

I haven't gone anywhere with my jogging goals, at this stage I'll be walking in the Bridge to Brisbane in Sept. not jogging it

How is everyone else going??? The women's section has gone very quite.

Well done Parker on your medal, was it a triathlon.
