Woohoo!! No gain is good in my book :)

I'm still trying to get back down to last Friday's weight after spending the weekend with mum's cooking  I'll do it though. Can't let the side down :P

Not the best week ever, but it was still down.

Last week 80.6
This week: 80.4
Down 0.2kg :)

Exercise summary for the week:
Friday - Sat in the car and headed down south - mum's cooking
Saturday - 5km walk with the dogs - mum's cooking
Sunday - sat in the cat and headed home from down south - mum's cooking in a doggie bag (not for the dogs!!)
Monday - 3kms run, 3km walk
Tuesday - 2km walk with the dogs 30km slow on the trainer
Wednesday - 2km walking the dogs
Thursday - 50kms trainer (hard pace), 2km dog walk - trip to the physio with my knee

It took me a week to recover from Mum's cooking. Shocking!!

Apart from seeing my parents, we went down south to view the Cow Parade. 85 lifesize cows (fibreglass) are scattered from Augusta - Margaret River - Yallingup - Dunsborough - Busselton. They are painted and decorated in whatever the artist chose. This is a charity event running until July and at the end all the cows are sold. Some cows are by local schools, others by local artists, and some by famous artists such as Ken Done. It was fun doing the trail and taking lots of photos.

Just the sort of event you'd expect to see me at really...I "Moo"ed for them :D

Steph made me notice this typo but it did make me think that if you were small enough to sit inside a cat you don't need to post your weight goals anymore

Sorry all. Nothing so interesting. It was definitely a car...though Daphne (one of the hounds) probably wished it was a cat!!

I have a new laptop and the keyboard is taking a little getting used to

Only a day late but a fat week:

Last week 80.4
This week: 81.3
Up 0.9kg :(

Exercise summary for the week:
Friday - 2km walk with the dogs
Saturday - 5km paddle
Sunday - 23km ride outside
Monday - trip to the physio with my knee - sore
Tuesday - 2km walk with the dogs 30km slow on the trainer, 6km paddle - knee not great
Wednesday - 2km walking the dogs - sore knee
Thursday - 2km dog walk - trip to the physio with my knee - knee retaped and feeling much better :)

My knee is annoying. Sometimes the tape makes it all better, sometimes the tape doesn't get in the right place so makes no difference. I know know how to tape it myself so I can change it to find the sweet spot. Because of it however, I've had to take it easy. Very frustrating. It is improving though, but I'm not yet confident to try to run on it yet.

Whoops reporting late for last Tues
Start 70kg waist 83cm
Goal 65kg waist <77cm
Current 68.5kg (up 1.5 from last week GRRR!) waist 78cm (same as last week)

Exercise
Tuesday nothing
Wednesday nothing
Thursday nothing
Friday mtb ride 1hr08min
Saturday nothing
Sunday nothing
Monday walk 40min

Ahhh now I can see where the 1.5kg came from! Crappy weather, v.unmotivated due to finishing up my job, and several farewell cake/meal dates with my colleagues. This week going much better thankfully! :)

A much better week - yay!!

Last week 81.3
This week: 80.2
Down 1.1kg :D

Exercise summary for the week:
Friday - 2km walk with the dogs
Saturday - 8km paddle, 60km trainer ride
Sunday - 60km trainer ride
Monday - 60km trainer ride
Tuesday - 2km walk with the dogs, another trip to the physio
Wednesday - 2km walking the dogs
Thursday - 2km dog walk, 5km walk

My knee is improving. I've had 2 days this week without it taped. Although it felt ok walking in a straight line, I didn't want to push things too hard and ride too. So that removed much of my exercise for the week unfortunately. I'm hoping to get back to some very light running in about 2 weeks (but don't tell my physio!!). I'm very happy it's getting back to feeling normal, but I'm nicely taped for a weekend of paddling and riding.

Sure!! I've just bought another boat (making 3 in my stable though 2 are for sale) but would love the chance to show off a slightly different view of Perth :)

Don't get addicted though...upgraditis hits hard with kayaks too :D

I better start making myself accountable.
I don’t even know when I last logged on to this.
Today my weight was high 69.1km gross, Joined weightwatchers on line again and I hope I stick to it this time.
goal weight 62kg

An "unfair" week!!

Last week 80.2
This week: 80.3
Up 0.1kg :(

Exercise summary for the week:
Friday - 2km walk with the dogs
Saturday - 8km paddle
Sunday - 70km trainer ride, 4km walk with the dogs (hurt knee again!!)
Monday - 50km trainer ride, 2km dog walk, and another trip to the physio
Tuesday - 6km paddle, 2km dog walk
Wednesday - 30km trainer, 2km dog walk
Thursday - 20km trainer ride, 2km dog walk

I hurt my knee last sunday walking Daphne the dumb-arse dog at a Dane club walk. It's like walking a firework that keeps exploding!! Back to the physio and keep doing my exercises (I've been slack with them this week as I was sad from hurting it again) and being gentle with it. I wish it would get better soon.

I.
Is this a joke, .1 of a kg? Please. That is the difference of a pimple.
You’re doing just fine; BTW did you say you have a Great Dane, why don’t you ride the dog instead of walking it

I'm not a teenager anymore Apple - my pimples aren't that size anymore :D

2xDanes actually. If I tried to ride either of them, they would just lie down and go to sleep. Common misconception about big dogs - they are lazy and don't need much exercise at all. They sleep whenever they have an opportunity (about 21 hours per day). Imagine getting them to actually work for their dinner!!

Woo!!

Last week 80.4
This week: 79.9
Under 80kg :D

Exercise summary for the week:
Friday - 50km trainer ride, 2km walk with the dogs
Saturday - 12km paddle
Sunday - 20km trainer ride
Monday - 50km trainer ride, 2km dog walk, and another trip to the physio
Tuesday - 2km dog walk (ok...picked up my new racing ski too so maybe the excitement helped!!)
Wednesday - nothing - feeling crappy with a bit of a cold
Thursday - nothing - feeling crappy with a bit of a cold

Knee is definitely on the improve. Physio said I could try a light jog with it taped this week...bit I didn't count on getting a silly coldy thing. Anyway, I've lost weight and managed to get below the 80kg mark. I really want to lose another 5kg before mid-August (organisational conference to attend so I need to look my best :) ).

Yay!!
