Harrods is a traffic jam of tourists.(2007) Urcgh! Cashed up Bogan tourists only, so they can get a Harrods bag. They'd be too sluggish to even buy a bike as an ornament.
Used to be a seriously good place to shop (1986) with a very wide range of prices.

'Arrods survived in an era that equated "value for money" and that higher quality goods,
subsequently cost more. Now in the era of most goods being produced in third world
countries, an even playing field exists, and only the perception of quality, now comes from
an 'aura' produced through advertising.
Though the Factor 001 was produced in the UK, it's over pricing, though no indication
of quality, now show it's inability to sell.
True, 'Arrods has had it's day.
And as pointed out here, the Bogan Era has now evolved, 'dog' bless them, another myth of
"wealth equates to intelligence", has now been aptly dispelled with the help of the cubbies.

Cheers,

BAck in the 90's
I loved Harrods ...Fayed even finally remembered my name after the first year of working so closely with him .
But I still remember clearly the day I nearly set the fashion floor sprinklers off...and also the day my 100 kilo frame tried to squash a baby in a stroller .
Those were the days...the best part was the "double my fee everytime I got a photo of him in the paper"...bought a nice mtb once with the cheque .
Now back to bikes...you got that MTB yet Missy?.

for someone who rides a bicycle three times a year (like me, I'm a lazy person), this would be the perfect bicycle. isn't it beautiful?
