Hi girls, Do you have sidi shoes, what type are they, road or mtb? What size are they? How does the size compare to your everyday shoes?
I ask this because- I have some sidi mtb shoes and want to get some road Sidi's. I think I have size 39 Sidi's and I am a size 7 womens in most of the other shoes I buy, (or a 5b as it can be known as). Do you think road sizing runs the same in Sidi shoes as the mtb sizing? Thanks

I have Sidi road shoes and just purchased some Sidi mountain bike shoes to replace my Louis Garneau's.
I'm a 40 in the road shoes and went with a 40 in the mountain bike shoes as well. I haven't ridden with them yet but I think they fit well. Next time I buy some road shoes I might think about going with 39.5 to get a fit that is a bit more snug, but I feel that I wouldn't want a mtb shoe to be too snug.

Thanks for the input so far. What size shoes would be your ordinary size? For instance most of my shoes are a 7, so if you guys are a 7 and wearing a size 39 shoe in Sidis then I can gauge my size.

I am a size 39 in most shoes. I was wearing size 39 mens shimano's before the Sidi's - but they were far too wide for my foot.
Hope that helps. If you can try them on somewhere then do. Even if you can find someone with a size up/down from yours you will be able to guage what is right. Before buying I tried on my friends size 39 Sidi's and realised they were too small, so that's why I went with the 40.

i bought sidi MTB shoes, cheaper ones, to check size and then bought road shoes the same size, fit was exactly the same. you can download a size gauge from the sidi website, put together right, it was totally reliable, make sure you display the page at 100% though before you print, i nearly stuffed up and printed first time at 94% which gave me a totally wrong size, did a quick logic check, LOL!

I've come to the conclusion I need 39's in sidi by going on your comments, the sidi chart and my 39 mtb's. Still, it will be a case of try before I buy. Thanks for your input

I have sidi, love them. I have 2 road bike shoes, one triathlon shoes and one Nike. The Sidi make women’s specific and they are great.

Once you buy Sidi's you wont want anything else The only thing I dont like about Sidi's is the thin inner sole they come with I always change my inner soles to blue specialized footbeds and a varus wedge in each shoe, my feet couldnt be happier They make my shoes fit perfectly and extremely comfy, I never get hotspots etc. The footbeds arent cheap but they are well worth it imo. If you are forking out $$$ for Sidi's, find some extra $$ for some specialized footbeds http://www.specialized.com/us/en/bc/SBCEqProduct.jsp?spid=44649
