More women cyclingJust a casual observation after returning back to Sydney, there are more and more women on road bikes. Over the course of 10 years, I am really noticing the difference - of course its a good thing. Great to see you out there!

Re: More women cyclingAbsolutely, when I started commuting in 2000 it was 90% male, 10% female. I'd say it was at least 30% female nowadays and the primary reason been the improvement in cycling facilities.

My commute is fairly unsafe and would be lucky to be 10% female. Most of the women cyclists I see are those using the inner city bike path network. Once you can climb hills on a bike it's all downhill.
Hopefully I'll know what that's like..... one day. ![]()
