Female 'for fun' Road Cycling in Northern Beaches Sydney

Postby Perkyt » Wed Oct 26, 2011 10:41 am

Hello, I have recently moved to Sydney with my husband form the UK where I was a part of a cycling club going out every Sunday. Having recently had my first baby am desperate to meet some like minded female road cyclists in the Northern Beaches area, not looking for speedy rides but want to get out and do some long rides and have some fun at the weekends. Anyone got any advice of where I might find any casual female riders on the Northern beaches? Thanks so much! :D

Welcome perkyt!

I generally ride with Bike North. They do rides up near the northern beaches, north, and out west so you can explore. They have a calendar of rides, and you do not need to be a member to join in. There are also some rides that are organised for women only. The next one is on sat 19th of Nov in the north near berowra that I'll be going to. Feel free to join. You can also contact the ride leader before the ride.
Their calendar is located on I their website http://www.bikenorth.org.au/calendar/
