Probably around 20kms for me today. Will be doing a group ride tomorrow - which should be around 30-40kms... and then a first day of triathlon training on Sunday which will be on the bike, not sure how that will pan out just yet so don't know if it'll give me many km's.

Sorry pictures are not of good quality, as my phone camera is poor. I am waiting for my contract to run out so that my phone can take better pictures.

That's my friend Ruth who is a very strong rider, I aways feel like a hill slug when I ride with her
63km today

You will love the riding. I gave up triathlons but I am interested to read about your training.erin wrote:Ok I need to start riding more (or other form of exercising) so I can lose some weight! I've been enjoying far too much eating lately!! Maybe I should make a commitment on here like I did with the riding goal so that way it's been said and I have to try and do it.

instead of the 30-40km group ride this morning I ended up going out by myself and completed my first 100km ride... yay me... hehe... my legs are still sore
triathlon training starts tomorrow (riding)... it's a 6 week training course with 3 training sessions a week (one for each leg)
I'll give you some updates apple. i will like the riding, I don't mind swimming, but I will struggle to really enjoy the running.

we can take lots of pictures of our bikes, near trees and hills, also the river and bush. Then you can post it on the 6666 club.

Anyone got any tips on best place to hire a bike from (have found a few different shops from google, but if you know any inside information that might help me) and any short rides out of the city that I can do when I can sneak away from my hubby?

OK so I've booked a hotel... Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel Sydney. In between The Rocks and Wolloomooloo (wow that is a hard word to spell - still not sure if I've put too many oooooo's in there)... I get in Saturday night and leave Wednesday morning so am not in town for long. I wish I could convince my husband to go for a ride with me
