It's typical Brisbane summer weather but as it's been a few years since we've had 'typical' most of us have forgotten the 'joys' of a Brissy summer!

As long as this year we get to enjoy a 'typical' Brissy winter all will be forgiven

I am sure your brissy winter will be great. :P
75 km for me this morning and I am so tired.

Awesome k's for the month Apple.

Nothing for me today...rain was bucketing down all morning.....I'm hopeful that the weather might clear for a short ride later this afternoon

My son had his 18th birthday party last night so didn't get to bed til 2am then spent today "tidying up" - wasn't going to ride but decided to anyway and really enjoyed it and I don't feel tired anymore! I work with someone who is having 2 weeks off work because she's "tired" - I think she needs to get a bike

I am so sick of this rain, I have not been on the bike for a week.
I ran with the dog this morning and let me tell you it was slow.

Wondered where you were Apple! It was nice in the Park, albeit a bit damp under-tyre.

Nice ride this morning,

Good one Apple! I rode this morning as well - ran into a roadie fella I hadn't seen for a while and I had to keep up. It was good, made me work harder.

Good, I am sure you are getting faster all the time. :D . I rode faster up hill today, 5kg off makes a big difference. 6kg more to go.
I am going to book the Bobbin Head Classic.

Yes it is nice, the road is quite and can go on and on, on the old pacific hwy.
During the week there are no cars, it reminds me of the 50s a real throw back. :D
The best time to ride it is in March April when it’s not too hot, you can get over 200 km, I usually start about 8 am, it is very relaxing. There are a lot of hills but they are nice gradient as they get longer

I rode at the track on the weekend in the NSW Masters Track Championships. Don't know how far I rode, but it was all round in circles on the rollers. Any women that want to come and ride track, it would be great to see you!
