Long summer knicks?

Postby Camilla » Mon Jan 02, 2012 10:55 am

Hi all,
I am having trouble finding any very long (as in to ankle length) knicks (with chamois) that are designed for Summer use. The only ones I can find to buy in Australia seem to be thicker, warmer Winter ones.
Has anyone seen these for sale?
Thankyou!

I use these all year round & live in Brisbane; I have never felt hot in them & highly recommend them. You will not find a more comfortable chamois than the type used in these products but they are not cheap.

Yes, its difficult to convey just how awesome cycling skins are, ultimately you really do get what you pay for.

I rotate between two identical pairs & on average replace one about every 12 months but I am particularly fussy about how firm they should feel. Nevertheless I do understand why people freak-out at the price.

I reckon there's a good reason why most women don't wear leg warmers - our legs aren't the right shape at all.

I just wear standard full length skins + bibknicks, does the job for me. I was keen on trying the skins knicks, but couldnt jusitfy the extra $$$ when I already had a drawer full of knicks.

e/ Just realised this is on the Women's board. Im a bloke, but AFAIK that wouldnt make a lot of difference. My wife + her sister also wears skins and find them rather good.
