Hi,

I’ve only recently got back into riding and the last bike I owned was in my teens – very basic.

I don’t have a large budget but would like to purchase a decent mountain bike.

I recently visited a bike shop and they suggested the Malvern Star XCS 5.0 W

I’m quite short so am probably best suited to the X Small frames.

My budget is roughly $600, not much I know but I want to buy a bike that will last me and I won’t have to upgrade for a while. There’s so many brands and specs out there it’s starting to get a little overwhelming.

If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.

Find a shop you like and trust. Take there advice on size.

Malvern star bikes are good value and a fine choice for a first bike.
