Funny finding you here :-)

IMHO the Giant Via 1 the best step thru going around. Its not cheap (by some peoples standards), its not pink, but it steel, has a great finish, is relatively zippy, stylish, and the basket on the front is top quality and can carry a significant load where most front baskets fail.

I got my partner an XDS. It seems fine although she hasn't ridden it much yet. Definitely go for one chain wheel and only gears on the back, otherwise someone not really interested in riding will just get frustrated.

Cool video - as a mother of daughters, I really enjoyed that.
The step through bikes are the one thing that has tempted my two (now young adult) daughters to get back on a bike, after giving it up as teenagers.
