Best cycling bibs for women

Hello,

My partner is getting into more longer distance cycling and looking for some good quality bib knicks and jersey. She is 155cm tall and 46kgs so struggles to find small sized kit. Any suggestions please?

I must admit I didn't pay the current $330 price tag though. Wiggle had them on sale in January for around $170.

I'm pretty sure Assos do a less expensive version too. Or try the Assos clearance outlet:

I have bought a few things from them - they do ship to Australia.

My wife had issues with the front fastening failing on both pairs of her ASSOS bibs. They were replaced under warranty but the design is not brilliant.

She tried Sugoi bibs while waiting for the replacements to arrive and found them the equal in comfort but superior in design.

However Rapha recently started producing womens bibs and she finds their design, quality and comfort tops.

So if you have the budget look at Rapha, otherwise Sugoi might be the go...

My wife is pretty happy with a set of DHB Goldline knicks. She's a bit bigger than you (not much; 165/55), wearing a size 8 (their smallest) but it's stretchy of course.

Assos bib shorts are available in all sizes - from XS through to XL I think.
They may not all be on sale though!

Can anyone comment on the Craft brand of womens knicks/Bib shorts? I am looking at the Craft Move style through Wildfire sport online for $99 but have no idea what the chamois is like and want a well padded one. Thanks.

I have owned a couple of pairs of Craft knicks, and like them, but the padding is a little different. It is quite thin, and at first you think it won't be enough, but it's density is such that I find it very supportive. The padding is also very wide although it tapers to the edges.

Yes i have owned some Craft womans knicks, Great value, washes well, not the best padding but its enough unless your spending 10 hours a day in the saddle.
