In human technological evolution, the search for ever greater power to pull a bigger load led to the invention of combustion engines. Maybe gene therapy on human muscle power is the next frontier!

It's already being done - on mice currently but the human application of the science is obvious.

No doubt we'll see it in sport doping before it's available legally in the marketplace.

No. I just bought one of these for my son's 4th birthday.

I'll be training him up to help me on the Sydney Spring Cycle!
:D

I hired one for an hour at Bicentennial Park Homebush Bay first. He LOVED it. Should be doing about 50ks this morning. I'll let you know how he goes.

We'll actually I would have been wondering if our friends would call DOCS on us if we bought one of the treadmills but my son just saw the image and announced that he really wants one.

Go figure

EDIT:
Actually just found this website looking around. I can't believe that there is a market for this stuff! :!:

Little tike loved the Weehoo! Only did 30k but spent half of the day out on it. He pedalled most of the time. Definitely happy we bought it.

Um, I don't really know how to put this ...

It looks suspiciously .... er ... recumbent ...

Has your son sprouted any grey facial hair yet? He's done more than 20km on it now.

:)

Cheers,
Graeme
