c1945-50 electric bicycle

Postby healey100 » Sat Jan 28, 2017 1:24 pm

Hello,
I thought I'd share this.
Picked this up this weekend from a 95 year old retired engineer who made this electric motor sometime "soon after the war" and fitted it to a Malvern Star 2 star.
Two small car batteries in the panniers power a friction roller onto the rear tyre.
With some wiring, this may just be back on the road again....
Kind of cool
