Just a quick one to let you know that the new jersey design is now up on the website. I must appologise for the PDF quality as the template didnt transfer very well.
The AGFs 'a metre matters' will be incorporates into the chest and side panels before the first order is placed. The AGF and I want to increase awareness by using this slogan as a standard.
If anyone is interested, I am taking the first orders with production planned - at this stage - to begin in mid November.
The price will be approximately $70-80 depending on numbers.
I forgot to add that the panels, cuffs, collar and piping WILL be reflective
+1 for me.
Is there a sizing chart floating about?
2010 BMC SLC01
Should be all mens and womens sizes but Ill get specs on Monday
I'll do a follow up article for you, lets talk via email... but I can't wear those colours... although it looks cool
Comments on the colors mate
I like the colours, I think its cool... but I can't wear it, its a bit much for me
I like it and please add me to the list off ppl who want one, please pm me when you require size and payment.Tim
Like the colours but I don't think black is a good option (reflective piping acknowledged). Maybe a reversal of the colours?
Ill mock up a 2nd jersey tonight
I don't think I can wear that much black either, gets mighty hot in the sun!

But its sooo perdy
Hi, love to provide some ideas. Main thing is to use the yellow orange from the logo rather than the canary yellow.
Well - you can see more in pictures.. .so here are some ideas.
Note the arrow directions, on the front of the second/third jersey, yellow arrows are mirrored (to better indicate which side should have a 1 metre space).
Looks great womble.
I think I prefer the nice big triangles as proposed by AuBicycles. I'll have to have a chat with the wife to see if we can swing it, cash is pretty tight at the moment though. I hope you get lots of interest.
yeah, Im was more limited as to my ability to manipulate the logo's etc and wasnt game enough to ask chris for any more favours, but he came to the resue again.
I couldnt enlarge the back of the jersey image enough here so Chris, thanx mate.all this hard work of yours is truely beer worthy
Ill start a poll to see which is more popular with the punters
Cool.. I have comments in the poll thread - happy to work with you to develop this for a top end result.
Three thumbs up
Womble looks great - like the design.
Just a thought as a commuter that always wears a backpack would it be possible to put it on a backpack cover.
Not fast, no style, but still get there.
You know - I really applaud the work you are doing. My problem is, I'm afraid that if I wore a jersey like this some bogan would take that as an invitation to "buzz" me. Is that just my paranoia talking?
Once you can climb hills on a bike it's all downhill.
Hopefully I'll know what that's like..... one day.
Yes.... sometimes I feel just because I am riding a bike - some drivers want to have a go at me.
But maybe they will feel special, after all, it is cyclists who are taking time and energy to make a jersey that it for other road users!
In that case, I wonder if an all white jersey with a realistic looking image of a gun in a shoulder-holster on the right side would be legal?
Here we go.
What I have been trying (for a while) is to get a dominantly yellow jersey... but without the feeling of it being a yellow jersey. Many will love the style as it makes you look a little thinner. I decided on the back to get ride of the url from the main message... what driver or anyone else is going to take notice of this.. main thing is the arrow and maybe the name 'safecyclingaustralia'. The URL becomes a secondary.. .and the pockets could be used for supporter logos... though with caution that while supports are good... they shouldn't dominate and distort the actual message. Though as Womble mentioned... the side panels could also be used.
It would be super cool if the white curves on the arms could be reflective strips... and I could also edge in the black curves on the back.. and have the white creep around a little more for some white reflective (curved) tape (think left and right on the back pockets).
Oh yes... in theory this design could be inversed so that black is the dominant colour and yellow the highlights... but it may not be as safe... right?
I do like this design
2010 BMC SLC01
That does look great. Can black be incorporated into the sleeves with the logo like the first ones? I also think the black side panels would benefit from white borders. Oh and feel free to chuck some BNA signage on there Chris. Free for the site. Everyone else will pay through the nose
I think that looks great.
