I want to see the outcome of the cyclists suing the cop.
Sounds to me like that fruitcake cop is not (mentally) fit to hold such a position.
The sooner he gets his comeuppance the better. :evil:

According to Google maps, Ohio isn't even in the deeeeep south.

How exactly can you become cop without a reasonable knowledge of the law? It's like being a taxi driver and not knowing where major landmarks in a big city are...
...whatever the road rules, self-preservation is the absolute priority for a cyclist when mixing it with motorised traffic.

Sad that these guys are legally allowed to carry guns and tasers and use them on "ordinary" folk. At least having professional statewide cops, our standards can be more consistent and weed out most of the power bullies - the rest we put in Highway Patrol :roll:
