Nice to see both the "slapper" and the driver were charged.
I was slapped by a passenger in a van a few months ago - even with "anger-assist" fully engaged I couldn't catch them (in my defence I was on a MTB going up a hill). I sort of got the plate - just can't remember if the last numbers were 942 or 492 (maybe my vision was obscured by the red mist ). If I ever see that van again...
I think "cycle slapping" is more serious than the offenders realise - a cyclist could easily swerve the wrong way and collide with the vehicle & maybe even end up going under rear wheel.
