Was it a pedestrian crossing? I can only go on google maps and street view but as best as I can determine it looks like a simple controlled T-Junction with lights inclduing separate left turn set. Appears not to include a pedestrian walk/don't walk light. And certainly not a zebra crossing - which I would term a pedestrian crossing. Maybe you have a broader meaning.

Of course both satelite and street view can be quite out of date.

Is it possible, out of respect, to simply pay respects but move discussion and arguments about road law to the cycling safety section? The speculation is not good and the reason that these threads get removed or deleted, they go too far or an offended family member contacts me. Please put more thought..... more restraint with these types of threads.
