Evaluation of Bicycle Lanes for Cyclists
Postby Aushiker » Sun Apr 28, 2013 11:09 am
There seems to be a bit of a theme on bicycle lanes of late with Gordon Kanki Knight commentary on them and now a case study of four treatments of local roads in Victoria has been recently published. This case study looks at the use of shallows in particular.
Might be interesting reading. The full report can be downloaded from my Dropbox and you can find a summary on my blog.
Regards
Andrew

I personally would love to see greater use of sharrows. In fact in sharrows have slowly spread to surrounding streets in these areas. Still, I would love to see them on major roads where it is deemed inappropriate to have bike lanes.
