Cyclist hits car - Posts in motoring forum

Postby beanspropulsion » Sat Nov 02, 2013 5:33 am

Cyclist had a car turn in front of him. Cyclist hits car.

Posts this in a motoring forum asking for advice ..... stupidity ensues.

Some supportive answers but then you get this:

Sounds like you were travelling too fast if you hit a stationary car. Obviously you were not looking if she was able to stop but you couldnt.

Did you even read the 4 pages of replies.

Most were supportive and quite a few questioned her unreasonable claim for "traumatic" damages. Others gave advice on how to proceed re the crash and comp for the bike. I didn’t see a bevy of trolls :o

I thought, overall, the thread was OK.

I thought the responses were pretty good, actually. Yes there were some trolls but they were summarily slapped down for being idiots, and their (il)logic accurately refuted.
