Just thought a fun thread with the best advocacy pictures of the internets would be fun. I'd like to see it focused around not just bikes - but advocacy for better cities and communities. Fire away.

One of my favourites, showing the effect of car-centricness on our cities.

Not cycling specific but motoring. It is particularly notable as community wide motoring was pretty much in its infancy in the 50s. Concepts, ideas and arguments that we are tempted to think are more modern were around then. (AKA the 'modern' phenomenon of road rage and the chestnut of my taxes/rego paid for therefore I own it.)

My suburb is overrun with rat running motorists from outer suburbs - who want to use my local to drive fast and bypass the main roads which are congested. So now some of the most dangerous part of my commute is riding in the "quiet residential side streets" to the bike path. So, paradoxically the only safe way for me to get there is to put the bike on the back of the car and drive there and park.

The city of Pittsburgh has a series of ads aimed at getting motorists to identify with the cyclists they pass on the road. I like this one with Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown.
