Very nice
How do you like it compared to your old SSL?

Actually I like my ssl better. I have since kept the SSL ( being stripped and vapour coated as I type= 200g weight off)HAKS wrote:Very nice

7s is sold. Nothing wrong with it. I just couldnt justify having 2 bike the same and have a sentimental attachment to the ssl.

Got a reach/drop on the Bonty bars?? Look more traditional than compact????
(BTW what's with the serious forward saddle position? My Madone 5.2 is set up the same... do you run a fairly flat saddle or downward? Your bike looks quite a bit like the way I want to set mine up )

Those bars that are cut off in the pic are Zipp SLC trad bend bars. 130 drop 87.5 reach
seat is pretty flat and not as forward as it looks, its almost on the 2cm park in the rail.( measured from rear of saddle)
Stem is 130mm.

Zipp bars... plot thickens. Really need to find somewhere that does the Pro Vibe, 3T and Zipp in one place. Subtle differences on all.

Only place I know that would have zipp and 3T are Kaos and Total Rush. The Rotundo and SL trad bend are very close.
Not sure about Pro..there bend looks very similar to the Bonty xxx VRC.
For what its worth I have some Zipp Sl2C ss here im not using. I found them to be very comfy just not the "look" i wanted you can see those on the madone pre stealth.. pics in superlight roadbikes thread

It's all compromise. The fizik snake bar looks the best, nice square ramp to the hoods, but the Tornova 3t has that egg shape top and square shoulder to the top (had a nightmare with a narrow grip on the tops after 8 hours moving a couple months back), but the pro vibe has the most crit friendly clearance. I am no sprinter but I think I need to accept I would prefer racing more than once a month and road doesn't cut it in Sydney.
