Did your Domane come with 23mm tyres?

Mine did? Trek website spex state all Domane come with 25mm.

Got my 4.5 in January 2013 so not sure how relevant it is to your question but it came with Bontrager R2 700x25's (it's sitting right next to me in the office )

Nope. They all come with 25's. To this day! Your dealer has swapped the wheelset or tyres with something else. PS The factory white 25mm R3's aren't available aftermarket.

Yes I think you may be right. Was in there for a fit on Wed and they were appreciably sheepish when mentioned it

Positive outcome

Received an email from Gareth at Trek Customer Service. They are sending a set of 25mm Bontrager R3 to the LBS who will fit them for nix. Very happy with the outcome.
