BB90 bearings

Postby kyloke1 » Thu Sep 25, 2014 12:59 pm

I have had at least 4 sets of bearings in the last 2 years. Interested to know if anyone else has had any issues with their bearings? By the way, mine is a 6.9ssl.

so is mine ( 6.9SSL). Still on the original SRAM steel bearings. I do remove them every 3k and give everything a clean out.
Had a squeak issue with an enduro ceramic BB but that was a problem involving the reducer being aluminium against a steel race..piss poor design Enduro!

Mine are enduro ceramics, maybe I should go for ceramic speed next time or just go back to stainless steel oems.

Get yourself a steel BB to suit your cranks. Having tried cermaics they are a waste of time and money in a BB. As you have found they last stuff all.
Weight savings can be had elsewhere. I've got mine under 6kg now.
