Despite saying the last Fulcrum R1s were the last wheelset  a couple of spoke issues led me to grabbing a 2013 set for the CAAD10 and I must say, they roll noticeably better than the other ones which were the 2009 model (although they have done a LOT of work). I also grabbed a C1 stem off the Cannondale Experts, as it looks a bit nicer than the C3 stem that was fitted. I also fitted a new chain - probably let the old one go a bit long, but all is good.

Today, I gave it a bit of a scrub-up and put some Muc-Off polish on - it really brings the colours out. Still loving this rig!

I was just doing a history on my bikes.

I have had a:
1992 Delta v 900 (cracked :( )
1998 Killer v 900 (stolen 2003 - was the replacement frame for above)
1995 R600 (sold but I want it back)
Pista (year unknown prolly mid 90s. Was meant to be a build up to race track. Never built, was also too small. Sold mid 00s)
2009 F3 caffeine (still have)
2011 Supersix red (still have although replacement frame in 2012 and frame fix in 2013)
2013 caad10 (still have - bought as a back up bike while Supersix was geyting fixed)
2012 scalpel 2 (still have, only recently got - converting to 650b).

Do I have a problem?
I have also had:
2004 avanti corsa pro (gone)
2005 avanti pista (still have - now a fixed gear commuter)

But they don't count as are not Cannondale.

Will endevour to get some photos up.

I liked the CAAD10 so much, I bought/built another...

WAS happy, until the FSA SL-K Light NDS crankarm on the Berzerker Green bike failed - the bonded aluminium nut that the pedal screws into came adrift and is a non-repairable fault. Not very happy Jan!

My LBS gave me a pair of BB30-24mm adapters which were plug and play, so I fitted my old DA7800 crankset and rode it in the crit today - MUCH better performing crankset/chainrings than the FSA anyway, so I'll leave it fitted.

Not the first time I've heard of this failure in the FSA SL-K Light cranks either.....

I have the same cranks. How do the DA perform better? Is it flex?

Nah, never experienced flex with the FSAs; the DA7800 provide better shifting between small/big chainrings and they are actually lighter - go figure.

cheers

However I have wheel and groupset upgrades happening with the Pinarello so that is easing the pain a bit.

I think you need to enable sharing. Tried to fix for you, couldn't capture image URL.

Sweet-looking bike, by the way. :D

WOW - both are very nice looking rigs lads!

In the latest news, I installed Ultegra6800 on my Team colours bike about 2 weeks ago and have been very happy with the new group - very smooth and fantastic braking. I think the Berzerker bike may be sporting the same group very soon.....

cheers

Have rolled out 5k on the Team bike now and almost 12k on the Berzerker. Both are sporting Ultegra6800 - one with Std crankset and one with Compacts - good balance. Fanblardytastic rigs these CAAD10s!

cheers

Back with another CAAD10. This one is a 2014 frameset with 6800, Praxis BB adaptor so I can run the 6800 cranks, H Plus Sons / Dura-Ace wheelset.

Love the later frame with internal rear brake cable and Di2 compatible.

Yeah, I know, bike's around the wrong way, etc  I was p1ssed after a car MGIF before coming down the hill and then slowed right up. So I got off and took a photo instead of staying angry. :D

I'm loving them. Noisy as all hell but fast and corners like nothing else I have experienced.

Noisy as in the freehub or the carbon rim ?

Road noise amplified by the carbon coating. When I rode in a group, they all laughed at how loud they were. I rolled the bike across some dead grass and you could hear the crunch being amplified. When I'm riding, pedestrians from about 20m away turn as they can hear me coming. I'll be doing a review in my blog soon with photos. I'll post the link in the forum related to Swiss Side Hadron wheels.
