Well, couldn't resist a grouse looking Caad10 with green / white highlights.....

Running Mavic Ksyrium Equipes, Prologo Scratch T2.0 saddle, Ultegra 6700, FSA carbon 53/39 cranks and 105 calipers which will soon be changed to Ultegra.

Rides like a ripper - definitely too much bike for me, but it will be an inspiration to try harder!

Thanks toppity

It would look a whole lot better if my legs had ever decided to grow!

I'm going to do a TLL and remove that bottom dome spacer as I really need to get lower and now I have a training bike I will mostly use this racing.

Really liking the tubulars to ride on. I've never tried the 404 clinchers but they are so comfortable compared to my American Classic 420 Aero's which I found to be the most comfortable clinchers I have used, a bit flexi though so the extra stiffness of the 404's is great

They match nicely with the silver bike decals but I reckon the rims would look sweet all black!

Thanks for the comments, I am just going to leave them as is. Works well with the silver graphics.

New saddle for the Synapse! Thinking of going red bar tape next. Still undecided.
Does that saddle look a bit nose down? Went for a spin round the block. Serious ride will be tomorrow. Now I look at the photo it looks a little angular but the sloping top tube might be making me see it that way?

It does appear a tad nose-down, but the angle of the photo may exacerbate its appearance.

cheers

looks nose down when compared to the level of the garage door behind it. Nice bike though

Found a nice set of Fulcrum R3 wheels on Ebay and fitted them today.

The bike dropped 1.2Kg as a result. The Pro-Lite Comos were great, but they are heavy!

Quick preview of my Supersix (105) I got back in Nov last year. Finally got around to replacing it with Ultegra Di2 during the Easter break and riding it for the 1st time around the block. Wow shifting is so easy and effortless and I like the new shifters especially for smaller hands. Need to put bar tape, 2nd bottle cage on seat tube - side cages are a godsend for small frames, clean up the external wiring with wire covers, replace the Thomson stem with a 3t one, seatpost as I need 5mm more setback and get the steerer cut and remove the massive top cap.
Image

Also big sister 2011 caad 10. Love the fact the geometry is the same so easy to setup the supersix.

Last wheelset upgrade.....I promise! A pair of Ebay Fulcrum R1s - they are stiff and really quick - a definite difference to even the R3s. I was also advised to raise the seatpost a few mm, so decided to fit the SL-K one I had left over from the bike that now does trainer duty. Bike weight (without tool / water bottles but with Garmin / lights) is down to 8.38Kg and it flies - well, as quick as I can make it fly!

cheers

I just realised this is a Cannondale, but bit confused as its frame hasn't broken yet for a warranty that doesn't apply to me, although the fork seems to be missing a bit from normal wear and tear.

My bike was nearly clean for once... so had to take a pic!... a couple of hours later after racing on gravel roads in pouring rain and destroying a rear tub it wasn't quite looking the same :| .
Image
It is becoming a bit of a bitsa... will put a new group on it sometime, but for now it does the job :P .

That picture really shows how big your frame is. :-)

Cheers
Dave.
