Crack n' fail

So 2 bikes in 2 years.

Fail in the same spot, this however was due to some debris just flicking up off the wheel and hitting the seat stay the wrong way.

To be fair, the Crack n Fail tag only applies to real Cannondales (i.e. alloy not carbon) :mrgreen:

Still, sorry for your loss. Super 6'es are pretty sexy!!

The price that you pay for a light-weight frame. I'd rather something 500 grams heavier that would last multiple times as long (and yes I'm still talking carbon, not steel is real)

Agreed.

Frame weight competition between manufactures is greeting ridiculous. Probably driven by sales to overweight MAMILS :lol:

Should be an easy repair.
I wouldn't class a super6 as a light weight frame, middle of the road really... the Evo is a lightweight. If the frame was 500 grams heavier it doesn't mean they would have beefed up the rear stays, unfortunate accident in my opinion.

Yeah the guys at the shop said fixable.

The bonus is I now have a CAAD 10 as a spare when the 6 is back.

A year and a half later and I have to say you're right. The CAAD seems to be getting more ride time.
