I managed to source a very cheap 2012 CAAD10 Team frameset and plan to use it as my 'work' bike which will also double as my climbing bike for the steep stuff!
I'm going to build it up with my DA7800 groupset - Compact FSA Gossamer crankset, FSA carbon seatpost, Cannondale bars/stem, Selle Italia Flite saddle and my older Fulcrum R1s.
I'll update as I progress and am hoping to have the seatpost, stem and BB30 BB kit arrive next week.
We'll see how it turns out.
Cheers

Noice. How will it compare to your current one?

Thanks mate. I was going to get a carbon frame but love the CAAD10 so decided to stay with it. The only real difference between the two will be crankset and saddle - groupset aside. I like both the Prologo on the current one as well as the Flite, so they will be fine I reckon. The crankset will be FSA SLK vs Gossamer, so a slight weight variance which won't really matter IMO.

I can tell that you're excited by the two identical threads in two different topics.

Classic looking frame, I look forward to seeing it about. Hope the build goes smoothly and you're riding it soon.

Would love a CAAD10 frameset to build, I am thinking about getting a custom built titanium version from china based on the CAAD10 geometry to build up.
