I ended up getting this Hong Kong made thing with a rubber like elastic mount - it fits and angles up enough to get the light straight. It's not over tight either, which was the main thing I worried about. The light itself is quite bright - and it sits in nicely behind the frame.
Finally picked up my 12 TCR 0 from my LBS last week.
They spent an hour and half fitting me to the bike. Once away from the shop the bike looks awesome.
I'm glad I didn't go the black of the 13 . . . Cleaning a black bike looks a nightmare.
Damn sight easier than cleaning a white bike.
Purchase thyself a bottle of Muc-Off bike cleaner - brilliant stuff.
I had a thought, but it got run over as it crossed my mind.
Noticed the other day I've done 20,000 k's on this thing now, no real issues to report. I swapped the wheels out early on, they rolled ok but I found the flexed a lot on climbs and had to run them with the brakes slackened right off which is NBG on the descent. Was coming back along a local bike path one day and came across at least 5 metres of path completely under water without any easy way of getting around it. After much umming and ahhing I decided to ride through it thinking it cant be too deep, well it was, came up to bottom bracket level so the di2 battery was well and truly wet. Being 30 k's from home I was no longer confident of my decision to ride through it. Remarkably the water had no effect on the electronics and it hasn't skipped a beat the whole time I've had it.
