Giant Talon 0 29er 2012 VS 2013

Hiya!

I'm looking to get a new bike after my previous one was destroyed when i ran over a car.
I've narrowed it down to two bikes: Giant Talon 0 29er 2012 Or Giant Talon 0 29er 2013
the prices are about $700 and $950 respectively although price is not a problem as i have > $1000 from the insurance company.
Which bike do you think is better (and why)?
Or is there a completely different bike you think i should get?
