I have the Orange 2015 as well, ride wise it's OK, quite happy with it though feel wise doesn't seem as stiff as my previous Focus Izalco.Duck! wrote:Same frames, minor component tweaks, most notably the brakes - the TRPs fitted to the '13 & '14 models were pretty ordinary. No details yet for the imminently-released '16 models, but not expecting anything drastic.yehuda wrote:I have the 2014 model and it's brilliant. I'd assume the 2015 is slightly better.
However been having 'stickiness' issue with the stock brake. They stop well but one side tend to stick to the rim and doesn't return to original position. Anyone else has issue with this or know the things to tweak to overcome?

I've been having the same issue with mine. As a temporary fix i just relaxed the brakes a little to give it extra clearance. Will be taking it into a Giant store soon to get them to look it over (when i can find the time)slian wrote: However been having 'stickiness' issue with the stock brake. My brother law has an awesome looking 2016 Advanced Pro 0 and the brakes look to have heaps of clearance for 25c tyres. Just from eye balling them, they look to have more clearance than my Fouriers brakes on my 2015 Advanced pro 0

Picked up a 2014 SL (404s + DA mech) at what I believe to be a great price....esp considering no one in Vic had size S left in an SL.
My question relates to the brakes. So most bag the 2013 model brakes ...are the 2014 the same? These have TRP on them. Will I have trouble with 25mm tyres?
If I upgrade from the aftermarket scene what to....
Any other issues I will need to be mindful of generally with the bike?
Im swapping the group straight over to RED 22 in rediness for Etap and the stem is being replaced otherwise stock.
cheers

Forged are half the price. I contacted Fouriers and they said there was no functional difference between the two.flex5150 wrote:not the CNC Fouriers?

The Fouriers website lists the Forged and CNC'd brakes as being the same weight

Not from Fouriers, but I bought a 3D printed version from Raceware Components. Seems fairly decent. Two angle options could be handy for other brand of stems.

Was happy enough to pay that given I absolutely love di2 over standard mech ultegra.

New to the BNA forums. Picked up my Giant Propel yesterday. Really looking forward to racking up the miles.

Might have strike a balance though with the gearing though, only because there's very little flat around me.
Would any of you have any recommendations for a rear light? Something discreet that fits the propel? I've done away with the saddle bag but could still use some red at night. The only cherry bomb is a clip-type, so no use here with the Propel.
