6770 shifters from Jenson USA, 6870 FD/RD from Ribble Cycles. Cable kit is the remaining challenge :(

Same frames, minor component tweaks, most notably the brakes - the TRPs fitted to the '13 & '14 models were pretty ordinary. No details yet for the imminently-released '16 models, but not expecting anything drastic.
I have the Orange 2015 as well, ride wise it's OK, quite happy with it though feel wise doesn't seem as stiff as my previous Focus Izalco.

However been having 'stickiness' issue with the stock brake. They stop well but one side tend to stick to the rim and doesn't return to original position. Anyone else has issue with this or know the things to tweak to overcome?

I've been having the same issue with mine. As a temporary fix i just relaxed the brakes a little to give it extra clearance. Will be taking it into a Giant store soon to get them to look it over (when i can find the time)

Hmm found this, might have a poke around and see if I can overcome my general mechanical ineptitude...

Can anyone confirm if the 2016 model propels have different brakes to the 2015 models?

My brother law has an awesome looking 2016 Advanced Pro 0 and the brakes look to have heaps of clearance for 25c tyres. Just from eye balling them, they look to have more clearance than my Fouriers brakes on my 2015 Advanced pro 0

Yeap brakes have been changed on the 2016 model to fix the clearance issue when using 25mm tyres.

Hey Guys new to the Propel scene. A bit of advice please.
Picked up a 2014 SL (404s + DA mech) at what I believe to be a great price....esp considering no one in Vic had size S left in an SL.
My question relates to the brakes. So most bag the 2013 model brakes ...are the 2014 the same? These have TRP on them. Will I have trouble with 25mm tyres?
If I upgrade from the aftermarket scene what to....

Any other issues I will need to be mindful of generally with the bike?
Im swapping the group straight over to RED 22 in rediness for Etap and the stem is being replaced otherwise stock.

cheers

Either buy the 2016 propel brakes or buy the forged fouriers brakes. Both accommodate 25c tyres.

Forged are half the price. I contacted Fouriers and they said there was no functional difference between the two.

I bought mine from here:

The Fouriers website lists the Forged and CNC'd brakes as being the same weight

Not from Fouriers, but I bought a 3D printed version from Raceware Components. Seems fairly decent. Two angle options could be handy for other brand of stems.

Ribble is having a sale (8% with code Shim8) at the moment on Shimano goodies. Couldn't help myself, I just bought everything I need to convert my propel to Ultegra 6870 di2 (except for the internal di2 battery - they won't ship batteries) for $878.

Was happy enough to pay that given I absolutely love di2 over standard mech ultegra.

Took my propel for its first decent ride today. It's a beast in the flats. Riding around my hilly area was a bit tricky with the gearing (it is Brisbane after all), but it just picks up speed and stays there on the flats. Completely different feel to my other road bike.

Might have strike a balance though with the gearing though, only because there's very little flat around me.

Would any of you have any recommendations for a rear light? Something discreet that fits the propel? I've done away with the saddle bag but could still use some red at night. The only cherry bomb is a clip-type, so no use here with the Propel.

I've got this one, it has multiple wedges as well, one of it fits the non-ISP post.

Anyone have a photo of a propel with the bb removed? Would like to see what it looks like inside the frame. Wondering if one of these would fit
