What does this tell us...? I dunno.
Doesnt really mean that its a disc braked frame... Could just be a redesign on the existing frame with wheel brakes.
Edit: Beaten... Lesson - Should refresh the page every so often when scrolling at work!

Just means it's been scrutinised & approved as compliant to all of UCI's current technical regulations. You will note that the 2012-14 Defy Advanced SL (rim-braked model) is on the list, but the disc-braked '15 model is not....Dirty32 wrote: What does this tell us...? I dunno.

please deliver a 2016 TCR with disc brakes an SL1 in the same price bracket as the sl1 defy would be great (a decent paint scheme would be a bonus aswell)
cheers in advance

I think the SL0 will be north of $10k which is putting it into esteemed territory, but hopefully the SL1 or similar are reasonably priced.

Heads up on the mechanical Ultegra-specced Advanced SL2, it's only available as a single shipment limited edition; Giant will only order from the factory what the dealers submit on their "floor plan" orders, and there will be no stock held in the warehouse. So if you want one, rush in to your Giant dealer to ensure one gets ordered for you.

Most Giant shops are offering 20% off RRP, so $5200 for the Ultegra Di2 spec SL1 and $3600 for the mech Ultegra spec SL2. The SL2 seems like great value considering it's a limited edition.
What's the difference between the PSLR1 and PSLR0 wheelset? Assuming they follow the same naming convention as their current wheelset? So the PSLR0 has the carbon braking track whereas the PSLR1 has alloy braking track?
Thanks in advance!

I wasn't told there's a specific number coming in, but rather that the final number will be determined once all dealers have submitted their floor plan orders. It could be 150 bikes, it could be 1500. All stock will be held by dealers according to their orders, none held by Giant. Delivery of this particular model is scheduled around October.shutuplegs wrote:Thanks Duck, I've heard the same from the Giant dealers around the area too. Only 150 TCR SL2 coming to Aus. They are a limited edition in the yellow lime colour scheme...

They are both carbon rims but from what I have read the main difference between the PSLR 0 and PSLR 1 is that the SLR 0’s come with DT Swiss star-ratchet freehub and Aerolite/Aerocomp bladed spokes and the SLR 1’s have a standard freehub pawl system and Sapim Race/Laser round, butted spokes.shutuplegs wrote: What's the difference between the PSLR1 and PSLR0 wheelset? The Advanced SL are as above.
Advanced Pro 0 $5999

The Advanced Pro 2 and Advanced 3 in the chart above are overseas models and not on the Australian import list.
