G'day fellow Giant owners,
Unfortunately some major mechanical dramas have come up with my car so I'm likely needing to sell my 2016 Giant TCR Advanced 1. Just wondering what people feel is a fair price to get me a sale in a decent time frame and get the most I can?
Its hard to judge as prices for carbon racers & different TCR models in general seem a bit all over the map.
Quick info on the bike - bought new Jan '2016. Travelled max 1000km, only for ~40km weekend rides every other weekend or so. Had its first service mid-late last year. All stock Ultregra 6800 except pedals (105 5800) & stem (90mm Connect SL). Will include original Connect 100mm stem & Giant Ant+ frame sensor (never installed). Never dropped, always kept carefully indoors, no marks or issues at all I'm aware of.
Cheers for any thoughts anyway!
Ant

Sad to hear you've got to sell your bike. Personally I'd sell the car.
Anyway, the bike you have is $2800 RRP.

Giant discount everything by 20% almost without asking. It's how they roll. So, you shouldn't pay more than $2300 for that bike.
I'd try maybe $1800 on Bicycle Market? Bare in mind that the second owner doesn't get the frame replacement warranty. Personally I'd need a bigger discount to buy a second hand carbon frame but there you go.

I bought a 2015 Carbon Synapse 105 for $1600 with an extra set of fancy wheels, which I sold for $600.
There were some special circumstances involved in that absolute bargain, but I'd agree with Comedian that a pretty heavy discount would be needed. Or sell the car....

No they don't, it's the shops that do that. Nothing to do with Giant.Comedian wrote:

I had a thought, but it got run over as it crossed my mind.

True! It's standard practice here in BNE amongst Giant retailers though.Duck! wrote:No they don't, it's the shops that do that. Nothing to do with Giant.Comedian wrote:
