Love my SLR, unfortunately that new thing is a Canyon with BMC badges. The design may cost them some loyal followers unless its exceptional. Pretty hard to better the best.
Disc brake groupies may jump on board, but us rim brake tragics probably wont upgrade. (maybe just upgrade the fork to shave more weight?)

Nice, but not that nice that I'd be interested in upgrading. Prefer the bikes I have already.

And Richie's one crashes..... :-) (Actually not sure if Rich was riding the disc version, if not maybe he should of been :-) )

Richie had the rim-brake version and I agree he should have been on disc brakes (probably less likely to have locked up rear wheel).

According to what reasoning is that?

Disc brakes provide much better modulation. I have rim brake and disc brake bikes and often ride them on alternate days so have a pretty good feel for the difference in braking.

Ritchie shouldnt have been following a brake checking Fred of a descender. That was the only problem with his bike.

Think it's a Roadmachine anyway, not a Teamachine. Still a nice bike but the 2017 RM is now a very different beast to the 2017 TM, unlike the rim brake versions of the last six or seven years when they had the same geometry.
