Hello all, I'm having trouble posting pictures.
On other forums there is usually a section for attachments etc

Can't work it out?

This site does not have its own hosting, so upload your photos elsewhere ie photobucket or flickr or even the free webspace that probably comes with your internet account and then make use of the URL button that you see on the message posting screen.
Pressing once does this the link to your picture goes here then press it again to close the link

... what he said, but in addition, you won't be able to post any pics until you've been a member for 7 days and you have 10 posts to your name. We have these conditions to stop spammers flooding our forum.

Cheers,
Graeme

photobucket.com is the best and easiest to use.

imageshak is my weapon of choice as it doesn't require you to sign up for an account, allows several resizing options and gives you pre-packaged code to cut-and-paste into forum posts to show either your full-sized image, or a thumbnail that is also a link to the full-sized image.

just as a quick side note (possible typo) the IMG button should be pushed not the URL... URL for posting weblinks.

Hi

http://cyclebucket.com/ (no hosting or uploading required) is another option and more importantly it allows you to re-size images which then allows you to be considerate of members running smaller screen resolutions.

Been on the forum for years but never posted a photo. I'm following the instructions but what am I doing wrong?
