Take a look at, for example, the Bicycles Network Australia startpage - some of you may have never seen it
Down the bottom I have added a new goodie with shows current active threads.
While it isn't intended to draw in droves of people - it will be on each and every page and as more and more people come to BNA to (eg - find a local bicycle shop) the forum is somewhat more accessible. It also helps with google as well - which inevitably draws in more visitors to the site and forum.
As a note - it is confined to the threads in the "General" forum.
Planned Forum Update
This will be the fun bit - and somewhat harder. The news and articles section on BNA has really taken off - inparticular with RobRollin contributing significantly with Tour news, Pro Team news and new gear.
In the forum on the entry page I plan to include a short overview of newest articles - will automatically update with the current news each time you visit and will save you from having to click to visit the BNA homepage and checkout the articles from there. As always, I will ensure that it isn't a distraction rather well intregrated.
Cheers
Christopher

found a spelling mistake in this section, Australian spelt "Australien":
http://www.bicycles.net.au/Australian-C ... eID%5D=419
http://www.bicycles.net.au/Australian-C ... eID%5D=419
inflammatory statement or idea
