Signatures are off for a while
Postby AUbicycles » Mon Mar 18, 2013 11:30 pm
In short - they have been having errors, this can happen and can be forgiven and is not the issue.
The problem is that a dominant error graphic was created as a replacement and this forum has started to resemble a big error message - that's just bad. If it was a tiny graphic that didn't bother, that would be fine. If it was a short period such as a day that would be ok, though the current news is that veloviewer guy is heading away and his service is due to be offline for a week.
So there you have it, a smarter and more thoughtful solution for an error message would have been better considering the time I have put in to help make veloviewer work with this forums without becoming one big advertisement - so that this forum remains readable. I feel that as a service then this type of impact needs to be considered and a solution created for minimum impact.
So sorry everyone for this - I have spent two hours trying to find an alternative solution to remove or disable veloviewer however was not able to do so. In the meantime, signatures are off and right now I am wondering whether veloviewer should be allowed.
Cheers
Christopher

I forget this forum is just another form of Social Networking. Narcissism is the name of the game.
