PMs not working?

HELP!!
I can't seem to send PMs for some reason. When I click 'submit', they go into an outbox, but don't ever reach my 'sent' folder.
Anyone able to assist?

That's the normal behaviour, I believe.

Best to do a search for this as it has been asked and answered many times. PMs are working but sit in the outbox until the recipient actually reads it, at which time it is no longer in the outbox, so you know if it has been read.

First post, so it'll need to be approved.
two requests and then this post can be deleted.
1) change username from blakeylonger to blakey as forum software wouldn't let me register as apparently I'm a spammer with a short username.
2) I would have PM'd this request to an admin, but I can't PM, so could I please have PM access.
