RSS feeds

We had a member request for RSS feeds, this is a great suggestion and it has now been implemented.

RSS feeds make it easy to get a list of (if you like) headlines of recent posts to browse headlines while not currently at the site. For more information about RSS feeds, a quick good search will give you the info you need.

To implement the RSS feeds there are two options:

For the Standard RSS Feed you can click on the orange RSS icon in the browser.

The Customised RSS feeds is for total control - click on the smart feed icon (next to the FAQ, Search, Memberlist, UserGroup menu items), here you get a page where you can customise features of the RSS feed. At the bottom of the page you generate a URL ... Usually you can copy this URL in your browser window URL field, click enter and the menu is created to add it as a RSS bookmark.

Two options - the standard RSS subscription is in the URL field in your browser - after the website address there is an orange icon. Click on this and you can then subscribe (should be the case for most browsers).

Second is in the meta navigation (FAQ | Search | Memberlist | Usergrups | Smartfeed). Click on smartfeed - there is a complicated looking page where you can determine various options for your RSS feed - at the end you generate a unique URL - paste this in your Browser URL field and click enter - usually your browser will directly offer you a subscription opportunity.
