Scott Foils 2013
Postby kingoftheroad » Mon Aug 20, 2012 4:04 pm
I'm looking to purchase a scott foil. I can't decide between the foil 40 greenedge or the foil 20. I still haven't seen any photos of the 20 so I don't want to make any hasty decisions. Anyone know where to find any? Thanks

At least they have gotten more creative with the colors
I hated the white of the grey foil 15 ... yuck
newer ones look sexy
im curious about synchro ... barely anything on the net about them except for sexy carbon MTB rims they produced in the past
I wonder how the high end aero rims will perform / + weight

BTW all color schemes here

these two are my personal favorite

I've been drooling over the Foil for some time now. From what I can gather, the Green Edge 2013 Foil is basically a Foil 40 with the black frame of the Foil 20. It still has the Shimano 105s. The Foil 20 has the Shimano Ultegra group set. The GE2013 is also much cheaper than the Foil20.

I'm curious about Synchro too. It wouldn't surprise me if Scott brought them.

It's Syncros. Used to be the ducks guts of MTB bits but they went bad for a while and effectively vanished. I just bought one of their headsets for my MTB build.
They WERE bought out by Scott this year.
